We strive to create a workplace where everyone feels included, respected and valued for their unique perspective and attributes.

We believe that a talented, diverse and inclusive workforce is a key competitive advantage, and our values, policies and practices all promote diversity and equal opportunity.

By actively seeking and including a diverse range of ideas, perspectives and approaches within our organisation, we are better able to:

  • reflect, understand and connect with customers
  • foster creativity and innovation
  • solve complex problems
  • improve the quality of business decisions
  • boost employee engagement and morale.

To help address the imbalance in the pool of qualified investment professionals, in 2019 we established the Maple-Brown Abbott female investment internship program. The program supports and encourages females studying finance and economics at university to join the financial services industry, and in particular, funds management.

The Maple-Brown Abbott Limited Board itself comprises a majority of independent Non-Executive Directors who, together with our Executive Directors, have broad experience and diverse perspectives. They bring independence and accountability to the Board’s deliberations and decision making.
